I noticed a girl at the store today noticing my shoes, and she noticed me noticing her (shoes). So I said to her, “Come here, I need to borrow your feet”. We took a picture together and chatted a little.

To Windows 7.
So I didn’t the unthinkable. I installed windows 7 on my Macbook Pro. Why? For shits and giggles. Such a mistake, Windows OS will never be a contender to Mac OS X. Never. It’s like getting a burger at McDonalds, it’s never going to be as good as In-N-Out. Or buying a Kia and slapping on all these parts to it, it’s never going to give you the driving experience of a BMW, the ultimate driving machine. You can put a lipstick on a pig, but it’s still a pig. Kill it, cut it up, make some bacon and call it a day.
Mac OS X forever.
Remember zip drives? They were supposed to be the next greatest thing to ever happen to data storage but it never took off. The idea was simple, provide more storage. But there was a drawback, they weren’t reliable. Even the drive itself, the one that read these disks went bad.
I remember having to replace one on my Pentium II 350 MHz computer back in the day because it was no longer able to read the disks anymore. You knew you’re disk went bad when you inserted it into the drive and all it did was click. You were screwed. Kind of like those old SyQuest drives my design professors in college always talked about.
Then flash drives came around. They were calling them thumb drives for a while and I thought that sounded dumb. But I always called them flash drives. Flash or solid state memory, is still around and it’s growing. But let’s not forget the oldies, but not goodie….the zip drive.
SeƱor Burrito in West Covina.
I found this place on yelp when my friend and I were deciding on where to go for our lunch break. The place is tucked away inside a liquor store! The place is awesome. They marinate and sell their owns meats at which you can buy and cook it at home if you wanted to. The same goes for their salsas and guacomole. I offered the nachos but I want to go back and try their al pastor.
I had the opportunity to participate in this years Los Angeles Restaurant week. We decided to go to The Derby in Arcadia for our lunch break. It was close by and had very good reviews. They require a business casual dress code, just a little FYI for anyone who is deciding to try this place out.
Since it was Restuarant Week I made reservations ensuring that we had a table. When we got there we were greeted promptly and seated immediately. Staff was very friendly. For restaurant week, participating restaurants have set prices and menus. I honestly forgot what we ordered but we both got the same thing with the exception of the dessert. I opted for the cheesecake while she got the bread pudding. Big mistake on my part.
When out desserts came I quickly gave mine a taste and was in heaven. It has to be one of the top cheesecakes I’ve ever tasted, and I’m not even a cheesecake person but this one was amazing. She then fed me a piece of her bread pudding, which by the way didn’t look that great upon first glance. As I savored this piece of ooey gooey goodness I came to the conclusion that I had ordered the wrong dessert. What I should have ordered was the bread pudding instead. It’s shall I say, fuckin’ amazing!
So yelp this puppy up and check out others things they offer. I definitely recommend giving this place a shot if you are ever in the area. Only thing is, they valet…I don’t do valet haha. Enjoy!

Earlier this week I tried a new place on my lunch break. It’s close by to work, it had good reviews on yelp.com so I decided to give it a try. The particular sandwich I tried was called, “The Grown Up Grilled Cheese Sandwich”. It was amazing. We also ordered a cup of chili to dip our fries in. Delicious! If you are ever in the Monrovia area, give this place a try: The Market Grill
